The Beyond

The Beyond is the first area you're put into when you open the game. It functions as a character select screen, where you can switch between characters and manage your character slots. The Beyond can also be accessed using a portal in the tavern or in your vault.

New players start with one free character slot unlocker, which can be used to get them a second character slot right away. This is incredibly useful because it allows them to use one character to farm gems for the second character, without risk of losing all of their progress. Buying your second character slot costs 600 gold, the third one costs 800 gold and any additional character slots past the third one can be bought for 1000 gold each. This means that min maxers will want to save their free character slot until after they two character slots.

To the right of The Beyond, you'll find the graveyard. Here you can see the glory, worn equipment and death information of your characters who have been slain in battle.
